Blair joins from Spotify, the music streaming service, where he held the position of director of European business development and led the formation and management of strategic partnerships across seven countries.
Prior to Spotify, he spent six years at Google where he held senior management roles in Mountain View and London.
At Just-Eat, Blair will be in charge of Just-Eat International, which includes leading companies in Denmark, Canada, Ireland, Spain, Belgium, Norway and the Netherlands, encompassing around 200 full and part-time staff.
He commented on his new role: "As Just-Eat's rapid global expansion gathers pace, it's an exciting time to take the lead in these markets. The Just-Eat team has already built the world leader in online takeaway ordering, but there's still huge potential for growth. We're thinking big!"
Klaus Nyengaard, chief executive officer of Just-Eat, added: "Adrian's technical expertise and industry experience make him ideally suited to lead these markets. Adrian has had experience at both Spotify and Google that will be relevant to his new role – that of using the Just-Eat business model to exploit opportunities abroad, whilst still making the most of local expertise to get the offering absolutely right for local customers."
