Old Spitalfield Market to host Real Ale Market

1st September 2010, 8:31am

Old Spitalfields Market, near Liverpool Street station, will be hosting a Real Ale Market on 8 September offering a collection of real ales from the region's leading brewers such as Fullers and Sambrooks.

The event is running alongside the regularly held Wednesday Market and gives visitors the chance to explore the delights of Old Spitalfields, whilst sampling a range of real ales.

The brewers will offer customers an insight into the brewing process, ingredients and what foods are best matched with the different beers.

The London Ale Taster, Steve Williams, will be also in attendance, bringing his knowledge of all things beer. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet and talk to him about local pubs and bars, and about the variety of real ales available in the city, as well as any other beer-related interests that they may have.

Old Spitalfields Market is open from 10am until 5pm. For further information visit www.oldspitalfieldsmarket.com.
