Northern Foods sells its Dalepak frozen arm

Northern Foods has announced it is selling its Dalepak Frozen Foods to the Irish Food Processors Group, for £6.4 million.

Dalepak, based in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, is a supplier of frozen food products, including meat and meat free grills.

A total of 143 employees will transfer to the Irish Food Processors Group. Dalepak made a marginal loss on sales of £23 million in the year to 3 April 2010.
