Nominate your favourite restaurant and eat for free

23rd June 2008, 2:40pm

A new web-based on-line takeaway food ordering and table reservation service for restaurants has launched in Kent and is offering diners who nominate their favourite eatery a voucher to eat there for free.

OrderOnlineNow has launched with 1,000,000 promotional fliers that are being distributed to local homes and businesses.

To use the system diners can log onto www.orderonlinenow.co.uk, enter their postcode or choose a town, view local restaurants, and place an order and arrange payment. Cash will be required on delivery/collection or by credit or debit card.

Orders are sent to the restaurant by fax and confirmation is emailed to the customer together with the restaurant's telephone number and a delivery/collection time. Any queries can be made directly with the restaurant.

Customers will be able to search and choose local restaurants, select food from the latest on-line menus and order takeaways, home deliveries and make a table reservation.

The system is free to use and does not require registration. Meals cost no more than if diners contact restaurants direct.

Members of the website can write customer reviews and rank restaurants with the highest ratings for quality, service and value, bookmark favourite establishments and add personal notes. People can also choose to receive regular newsletters about new restaurant openings and special offers.

Customers can also recommend restaurants that do not yet appear on the site and if they become a member of the OrderOnLineNow, a voucher to eat free at the eatery will be send to that person.

Brainchild Andrew Frisby commented on the initiative: "There's no substitute for personal recommendation and I want Kent's best restaurants on our website – so for every time a member recommends a new restaurant that joins the website I wills end that person to dine there for free."

Once established in Kent, the model will be rolled out across the country.

Just looked on the site, looks a bit cheap to waste a million leaflets on! Think of the trees. Anyway i couldn't find anything in my area or any area to be exact. Think ill stick to using 118menu.com instead for now.
