New sea-themed makeover for One-O-One

Vivid Interiors has created a ‘sea-themed’ makeover at the One-O-One restaurant housed at the Sheraton Tower Hotel in Knightsbridge.
Taking 'the shoreline' as its theme, the new interior has a strong contemporary feel and is rich in organic, sweeping curves.
Prominent in the main restaurant chamber is a fibreglass table-cum-centrepiece which is backlit to create the impressions of waves rippling across its surface.
Feature walls have veneered curved panelling in rose zebrano wood with textured plaster inscribed with a wave design.
Accommodating around 60 covers, the new-look restaurant features large, widely spaced tables with modern armchairs and padded banquette seating. A new private dining area – sectioned off by sliding glass doors and a 'shimmer screen' – has also been created.
The fit out of the ground floor also includes new washroom areas, a full mechanical and electrical installation and new ceilings incorporating new air conditioning systems.
Elliptical ceiling rafts have also been installed to imitate waves throughout the restaurant and central bar. The entrance has been tiled with wood-effect ceramic tiles, with carpeting suggestive of shimmering sand in the main restaurant.
The refurbishment took ten weeks to complete, with a fit out cost of £500,000.
