New principle appointed at Howarth Hotels Tourism and Leisure

Erlend Heiberg has been appointed principle of the UK office of International Hospitality and Leisure consulting firm, Horwath HTL (Hotels Tourism and Leisure).

Heiberg has over 18 years of experience working in the industry and is a member of the Royal institute of Chartered Surveyors. 

Previously he worked for the InterContinental Hotels Group before holding senior positions at CB Richard Ellis Hotels and Jones Lang La Salle Hotels in Dubai, where he was initially senior vice president Middle East and North Africa, before joining the London team as senior vice president of CEE and Pan EMEA.

He commented on his appointment: "It is a huge opportunity to expand one of the great consulting brands in such a dynamic market as the UK. The next two years will be a critical time for the industry as we climb out of the recession, and Horwath HTL will be an important part of that"
