Gunam joins The Draft House following a 10 year stint under the umbrella of the Capricorn Ventures where she was tasked with key roles at Wahaca, Baker & Spice and Nando's.
Most recently she was at expanding Mexican restaurant group Wahaca, where her job title was development manager. In this role, she oversaw the launch of two key sites while also training all the general managers and front of house staff. Previously she was operations manager at Baker and Spice and skills training manager for Nando's UK.
The Draft House group now comprises three sites across south London: Westbridge, Northcote, and Tower Bridge, which launched in September 2010.
McVeigh commented: "I am pleased and proud that Suga has joined us. Although we are small, it is a great vote of faith in Draft House that such a talented industry figure has chosen to join us in our mission to spread great beer, food and hospitality across London."
Gunam added: "Draft House is a fantastic brand with genuine people behind it. I am excited to be working with real people with real values – it is undoubtedly the key to a successful growing business. I am very proud to be part of what is going to be an exciting expansion program in the coming years."
