New marketing director at Livebookings

Online restaurant reservations and marketing network Livebookings has announced the appointment of Renette Youssef as marketing director.

Youssef joins the London head office team to lead Livebookings' international marketing strategy and build on previous successes of the company's global brand.

Formerly director of group marketing for Touchstone, a software and services company, Youssef brings over 10 years senior B2B and technology experience to her appointment.

Previous to Touchstone, Youssef worked as marketing manager for QAS – Asia Pacific, where she was tasked with building the brand's penetration across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore whilst putting strategies in place to advance the company's growth and achieve its sales targets.

Speaking about her new appointment with Livebookings, Youssef said: "I am really pleased to be joining Livebookings at an important time in the company's development.  The restaurant business is a diverse market and Livebookings is in an excellent position to deliver practical, cost-effective online marketing solutions to all types of restaurants, be they large or small and particularly at these challenging times when we can help them the most."

Commenting on the growth and popularity in online restaurant marketing, David Norris, chief executive officer of Livebookings, added: "We continue to rapidly expand our horizons and bring more diners to more restaurants.  We are delighted to have Renette join the team as she brings some great experience with her proven track record in B2B and high-tech marketing.

"
As we grow, we can focus her expertise on developing our marketing strategies to further streamline and advance communications with both our existing and new restaurant customers."
