New main board appointment at Fuller's pub group

Fuller, Smith and Turner P.L.C. has announced that Jonathon Swaine, operations director has been promoted to the position of managing director of Fuller's Inns with immediate effect and will join Fuller's main board.

Swaine joined Fuller's in 2005. He has previously held positions at Carlton Communications and Molson Coors.

As managing director of Fuller's Inns, Swaine will take on operational responsibility for the 366-strong estate of pubs and hotels and will report to group managing director, Simon Emeny.

Fuller's chairman, Michael Turner commented: "We are delighted that Jonathon is joining the Board at Fuller's. He is an excellent retailer with an unrelenting focus on maintaining the highest of standards in our pubs, and embodies Fuller's values and ethos. As Managing Director of Fuller's Inns he will be in the perfect position to drive our next phase of growth."
