New hotel manager appointed at The Sheraton Park Lane

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has appointed Paul Dunphy as hotel manager at The Sheraton Park Lane, London.

Dunphy will be responsible for the daily operation of the property and report to Colin Bennett, area manager England.

Dunphy's most recent role was as hotel manager at Sheraton Belgravia, and he began his Starwood career in Ireland as food & beverage manager at The Westin Dublin.

 In July 2003 he was promoted to the position of executive assistant manager at the same property before overseeing the opening of Sheraton Fota island Hotel & Spa in 2006. He has over 14 years' hospitality management experience in the UK, Ireland and Dubai.

Bennett commented: "Paul brings an unswerving commitment to delivering the highest standards and inspiring his hotel associates to do the same. The Park Lane Hotel, a London landmark, is in safe hands and I am sure that his enthusiasm and expertise will lead to further success for the property."
