Sekakmia has joined the hotel from Savill Court Hotel, where he was food & beverage operations manager. Prior to this he worked across a number of leading hotels across London.
After graduating with a hotel management degree at Alletti Hotel in Algiers, Sekakmia gained substantial experience and skills working in restaurants throughout France and England, including the position of head barman at both L'Aubergine and The Ritz.
At The Gore, Sekakmia now manages a team of 23, plus four managers from both Bistro One Ninety and Bar 190. He is responsible for the activities in the Bistro and Bar, as well as private dining in the hotel's Banqueting Rooms.
