Weston Park has begun work on its latest business venture, The Granary Bar and Grill, in the old malting house of a restored 18th century Granary building and will serve a modern British menu incorporating the region's finest produce.
A new brigade of professional chefs and kitchen assistants will be recruited to provide the seven day a week service.
The Bar and Grill will feature a spilt level contemporary seating area providing diners with views over the pools, as well as the estate's church and cottages.
Colin Sweeney, Weston Park's chief executive, explained: "Our latest project will complete the Weston Park all year round experience. The stately home presently provides fine dining and is only available on an exclusive basis whereas the new Bar and Grill will cater for all budgets.
"We will be recruiting for kitchen staff and will be looking for candidates that can demonstrate imagination and flair and who can work with our existing team to position The Granary Bar and Grill as one of the region's favourite food destinations."
