New CHA website goes live

The Considerate Hoteliers Association (CHA) has launched a new enhanced and informative website which is designed to meet the needs and objectives of today's environmentally conscious hoteliers.

Commenting on the new website, CHA Association Secretary John Firrell said: "The newly enhanced website, www.consideratehoteliers.com, has been developed to be a site that CHA's 156 member establishments – including many of the UK's top hotels – can be proud of. More importantly, it now offers more information, pictorial excellence – courtesy of our member hotels – and an easy to navigate site that is a pleasure to view.

"Over the coming months, further improvements are planned to ensure that it meets and exceeds the requirements of our burgeoning membership – the latest CHA recruits being the five-star Royal Garden Hotel and One Aldwych, both in London, and Down Hall in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire."

A key page on the new website is dedicated to the 2008 Considerate Hoteliers Association Awards, www.consideratehoteliers.com/en/awards,  open to all hotels and guest-houses in the UK – entries for which close on Friday, 30 January 2009.

The 2008 Considerate Hotelier Awards will be presented at a special gala lunch at The Cavendish London Hotel on Monday, 27 April 2009.
