Name change for Royal Lancaster Hotel

The Royal Lancaster Hotel is officially changing its name next month to the Lancaster London.

To coincide with the name change, there will be a host of "999 offers".  These will be available on 9 September.

To celebrate the name change the hotel will be offering:

Nine overnight stays for two in the hotel's Superior guestrooms
Nine breakfasts for two in Island Restaurant 
Nine lunches for two in Island Restaurant
Nine lunches for two in Nipa Restaurant
Nine afternoon teas for two in the Lancaster Lounge
Nine dinners for two in Island Restaurant
Nine dinners for two in Nipa Restaurant
Nine cocktails for two people in Island Bar
Nine glasses of champagne for two people in the Lancaster Lounge.

To win one of these prizes, guests must log on to the hotel's website, www.lancasterlondon.comat 9.09hrs on Wednesday 9 September 2009.  When making the bookings guests must enter the promotional code "090909", to find out if they have won one of the superb prizes. 

Taxi drivers pulling up outside the hotel's main entrance on 9 September 2009 will be treated to a special gift to celebrate the re-branding. 

Stephen Kyjak-Lane, general manager of Lancaster London, stated: "London is the centre of the world's day, which starts and ends in Greenwich, thereby enabling business to be carried out throughout the world from London.  We are changing our name to Lancaster London to reflect the fabulous location of the hotel in one of the world's greatest and most cosmopolitan cities."
