Michelin-starred chef Simon Rogan invests in technical cooking research

3rd December 2009, 10:31am

Michelin-starred chef Simon Rogan has commissioned digital agency, Fudge to produce the branding for his latest venture, Aulis Research, which will explore “technical innovation in cooking”.

Aulis Research will housed in the old post office in the small village of Cartmel in Cumbria, already home to two of his successful restaurants.

Described by Simon as 'a place to create', the research facility will focus on creating a healthier natural cuisine using wild ingredients many of which have been long forgotten and overlooked.

Gavin Bates, creative director describes the new logo as, "a highly crafted, clean and contemporary marque that reflects the uniqueness of Simon Rogan's new venture, but that also complements the branding already created for L'enclume and Rogan."
