Merrychef Ltd appoints new product manager

Merrychef Ltd, part of the Manitowoc Foodservice Group, has appointed Simon Bircham as the new product manager.

Based at the company's UK headquarters in Ash Vale, Hampshire, Bircham is responsible for the launch and development of Merrychef's new product range, the eikon series of speed ovens to the global foodservice market.

Managing director, Graham Veal, said: "It's an exciting time for Merrychef as we consolidate our UK manufactured oven range and coordinate the worldwide launch of the eikon™ series.  Simon will focus on the commercial development of our advanced cooking technology as we continue to introduce new innovations and add to the product series in conjunction with our foodservice customers needs."

Bircham's previous roles include international product manager for KEF and product marketing manager at BSI.
