The new initiative, which was launched by Asperity Employee Benefits in March, has prompted more than 60% of McDonald's' 80,000 staff register by visiting the company's staff website www.ourlounge.co.uk.
The new scheme has been designed to "seamlessly integrate with the ourlounge site" and offers employee's discounts at over 1,500 retailers including discounted gift vouchers and voucher codes and cashback offers.
UK hr director, Jez Langhorn, said: "We have one of the most diverse workforces in the UK and we want to provide the best and most extensive range of benefits possible.
"The 'ourlounge' website has become a central pillar of our staff engagement strategy and is a perfect shop window through which to showcase the new scheme.
"Our staff are demonstrating how much they value it with over half of our 80,000 strong workforce logging on every day."
