Maxwell's Restaurants switch on

29th June 2010, 10:43am

Maxwell's Restaurants Ltd. has made the switch from using 50 watt halogens lamps to Array(TM) Lighting LED R30 lamps to reduce energy costs across all of its ventures. We take a look at the benefits.

Maxwell's, in London's prestigious Covent Garden location, is the first of the locations to make the change.

Salvo Alfano, Maxwell's group project manager said: "After careful consideration of many other LED lighting brands, we chose the Array lamp because of superior colour rendering and superb warranties as well as the opportunity to reduce replacement maintenance and energy costs. We plan to use Array throughout our entire chain."

Atmospheric Zone, the UK sales representative and distributor of Nexxus Lighting products, including Array, helped Maxwell's determine the best lighting solution.

Mike Bauer, president and chief executive officer of Nexxus Lighting, explained: "Our Array(TM) Lighting brand has set a new industry standard that all other LED lamps are now being compared to in terms of efficacy, thermal management, weight and design. We applaud Maxwell's for its bold, green decision to invest in lighting technology to reduce their energy and maintenance costs."

Maxwell's Restaurant Group includes 10 locations under nine brands including Maxwell's Bar and Grill, Sticky Fingers, Cafe de Paris, Palm Court Brasserie, The Roadhouse, Cactus Blue, PJ`s Bar and Grill ,Boulevard Brasserie and Navajo Joes.

Nexxus Lighting, Inc. is a leader in advanced lighting technology, including solid-state LED and fiber optic lighting systems and controls used in commercial, architectural, signage, swimming pool, entertainment and retail lighting.
