Lunch! introduces retailer of the year awards

The organisers of Lunch! Diversified Business Communications, has unveiled the launch of its new Retailer of the Year awards, which will be presented during the trade show next month.

The award will be presented in three different categories; Independent Lunch! Retailer of the Year 2008; Multiple Lunch! Retailer of the Year 2008, and Lunch!  Contract Caterer of the Year 2008.

Entry forms will be distributed to the industry later this year and the finalists and winners will be chosen by panel of industry experts.

John Clifton, event manager of Lunch!, commented: "Lunch! has been designed to provide a focused event for dynamic and growing quality food to go sector, and will be an inspiration for anyone involved in the quality food to go industry."

He commented further on the awards: "The Lunch! Retailer of the Year Awards will be an important part of the event and is set to become an annual highlight of the industry years, celebrating all that's best about this innovative and fast moving sector."

Lunch! is dedicated to the £3 billion lunchtime 'food to go' market and will take place at the Old Billingsgate Market in London on 26-27 September.
