Londoners urged to vote for best restaurant festival menu

13th October 2009, 9:23am

Londoners who have already taken advantage of the special London Restaurant Festival menus or who are about to sample them are being asked to vote on their favourite menu before the final day of the festival today (13 October).

The menus have been created specifically for the London Restaurant Festival. Each menu offers a range of dishes at discounted, fixed prices, which start from £10 for lunch and £15 for dinner.

Festival Menus give Londoners and foodie-minded visitors the opportunity to explore restaurants throughout the capital. Festival menus have already served up at famous establishments such as Wahaca, Le Caprice, Yauatcha, and Fifteen.

The most popular menus will then go on to win an award at the London Restaurant Festival Awards which will take place this evening in association with the London Evening Standard.

Members of the public can vote for their favourite LRF menu via the link www.toptable.com/lrfvote

Founder Fay Maschler and London Evening Standard Editor Geordie Greig will present 12 London Restaurant Festival Awards. Six of these will recognise the best Festival Menus in each price category.

The awards will cover Best London Festival menu - in each price category - that in the opinion of the judges has most creatively, generously and deliciously presented a festival menu.

The awards will recognise those who have made a special and significant contribution to London's reputation as a global capital.
