The Refinery, on Southwark Street, London, seats a total of 550 guests, including 236 seated, and also benefits from an al fresco area, providing space for a further 120 diners.
Designed by Sophie Douglas of Fusion Design and Architecture Ltd, the establishment features classic restaurant seating, secluded booths, high tables with bar stools and a spacious floor space.
A concrete and glass staircase also provides access to a mezzanine gallery with a private dining room. One of the key design features of the bar area is a contemporary wine wall which acts as a unique storing facility.
Executive chef Lisa Valenti, who has developed the venue's menu, serves up dishes ranging from morning brunch and light lunches to sharing plates and mains including slow roasted pork belly, cote de beouf and tiger prawn risotto.
Jillian MacLean, managing director of the pub group, commented on the new hotspot: "We have developed the concept over the last year and are looking forward to giving our customers something a little bit different. The Drake & Morgan team are set to expand the roll out of future venues within the next three years."
