Livebookings seated record number of diners in December

Livebookings, a European leader in real-time reservations and online marketing services for restaurants, seated a record number of diners in December, generating £21 million worth of business for the restaurant industry.

Livebookings processed just over 1.4 million covers in December, representing 80% growth year on year.

Colin Tenwick, chief executive officer at Livebookings said: "We are proud to be delivering a service that's supporting the restaurant industry during this tough time. 

"We've generated over £21 million in revenues for our restaurant customers in December, significantly more than any other online reservations provider in Europe. Online marketing is fast becoming the trusted way to engage with diners, and this is reflected in the rise in online reservations across Europe."
