IENS will now be able to offer Livebookings' reservations and marketing expertise to its thousands of restaurant customers.
The application will allow IENS users to book restaurant tables in real-time, so they receive instant confirmation on their phone. Consumers can also browse reviews, menus and other information on the IENS website.
Restaurants in Holland will now be able to access the Livebookings electronic reservations book and online marketing services. These are currently being used by over 7,000 restaurants worldwide, from independents to fine dining establishments such as The Ivy and Tantris.
Ventures can also take advantage of the Livebookings Barometer, a post-dining survey tool to find out what guests really think about their dining experience.
Andris Berzins, chief marketing officer at Livebookings, said: "IENS is a perfect partner for Livebookings, bringing a loyal customer base who are passionate about food. Their coverage of 18,000 restaurants gives them a reach in Holland that no other company has."
Sander Klos, chief executive officer of IENS, added: "We've seen a real shift in focus for restaurants in the last few years, with increasing understanding of the need to take online reservations for both better customer service and the ability to build a guest database."
