Livebookings celebrates record covers in January

Livebookings, a European leader in real-time reservations and online marketing services for restaurants, has announced that it processed a record 1.48 million covers in January.

Saturday 21st January was Livebookings' biggest booking day ever.

Livebookings delivered record cover growth in January, seating a total of 84,000 diners in one day.

Colin Tenwick, chief executive officer, Livebookings, said: "Despite an increasingly tough trading climate, restaurants continue to turn to online booking technology and mobile marketing to boost high levels of diners. 

"Our service acts as a 'recession-proof' revenue stream for our restaurant partners – that's why we continue to deliver record levels of covers every month, significantly more that our nearest competitor."
