Aubrey-Batchelor joins the London head office team to manage Livebookings' software-as-service (SaaS) platform, future technology projects and to ensure restaurant clients continue to be provided with fast and dependable booking services.
Previously chief technology officer at Breakingviews Aubrey-Batchelor has vast experience in running large scale websites and was a key figure in developing the software.
Commenting on the appointment, David Norris, COO, Livebookings, said: "We're very excited to be working with Matthew – he has a fantastic pedigree in improving businesses' online service and ensuring customer satisfaction is always high."
He continued: "Livebookings is planning to invest in major technology projects through 2010 and beyond, and Matthew will be managing our extended development team to deliver innovation that will benefit the restaurants we work with and the diners who book through our services."
Speaking about his new appointment to Livebookings, Aubrey-Batchelor commented: "I'm delighted to be joining Livebookings at such an exciting time. The business is changing the way that restaurants take bookings and encouraging many to use direct online marketing for the first time. A relatively small number of restaurants are currently using their websites to take reservations, so the potential for growth in this market is significant and I look forward to being a part of it."
