Livebookings announces its fourth academy event

6th November 2009, 12:12pm

Online restaurant marketing expert Livebookings is holding its fourth Academy event next week (11 November) which will focus on how restaurants can use the internet to increase customer awareness and table bookings.

Attendees will be offered advice on social media marketing, building business profiles through Google and the importance of search engine optimisation. After the presentations there will be a one-to-one marketing surgery with Livebookings representatives providing a free assessment of attendees' current online offering.

Speakers at the session include Jo Harvey, marketing director for Sweet Potato (a Livebookings client); Magnus Hultberg, head of product management for Livebookings and David Norris, chief operating officer for Livebookings.

Olivia FitzGerald, Livebookings UK and Ireland general manager, said: "With an increasing number of consumers looking for restaurants online, using tools such as social media and search engine optimisation to increase awareness is vital or bringing in new customers."
