Known as the Gluten-Free range, the Le Bistrot Pierre team has created an extensive selection of gluten-free dishes. This is intended to make it easy and safe for people with food intolerances to enjoy dining out without worrying about limited menu choices.
The menu includes Fricassée de champignons; Fricassée of mushrooms with (or without) crispy Alsace bacon and gluten-free bread, Le Bourguignon; Braised Scottish pasture-fed beef in thick slices, with shallots, red wine, mushrooms and bacon, and Suprême de poulet; Free-range 'nature and respect' chicken suprême with courgette ribbons, warm Calvados and apple dressing to name a few.
Robert Beacham, co-owner of Le Bistrot Pierre said: "We are announcing the gluten-free menu to the public in a big way following customer research highlighting its growing importance. However, we have to remember it's not just those diagnosed with coeliac disease who are affected, it's their friends and family too, as without a good gluten-free menu it's difficult for groups to eat out together.
"By introducing simple changes to our menu such as gluten-free options mean a hassle free yet potentially rewarding solution to this problem."
The gluten-free menu at Le Bistrot Pierre includes lunch dishes that change every two to three weeks and a seasonally changing evening a la carte menu along with special event menus including Christmas.
