Lancaster London's football team celebrates after winning Hotel and Catering Challenge Cup

The Lancaster London Bees, the hotel's football team, is celebrating once again after winning the Hotel and Catering Challenge Cup.

The seven-aside football tournament was hosted by PJ Search in Bishop's Park on Sunday 19 September 2010 in support of Peace One Day.  All of the proceeds were donated to Springboard UK.

A total of 24 top London hotels and over 300 people took part in the tournament. 

Antonio Sousa, the coach of the Lancaster London Bees, said: "The team has been working so hard over the last year.  Winning the league was fantastic and to win the Hotel and Catering Challenge Cup is the icing on the cake.  

"It seems there is nothing these worker bees cannot overcome!  Springboard UK is such a worthwhile cause it is great that we have been able to contribute to raising so much money for the charity."

Peace Once Day is an organisation that supports a global day of peace and uses football as one of its core means to spread a message.  The Springboard Charity helps young, unemployed and disadvantaged people find a suitable career in the hospitality industry.
