La Tasca offers Spanish Christmas deals with a difference

11th August 2010, 10:24am

We’re barely through Summer but spare a thought for those people at La Tasca HQ who have been busy for weeks cooking and tasting, planning and purchasing to create the perfect Christmas at La Tasca.

The Spanish tapas restaurant and bar group has completed the process - menus are printed, chefs are prepared and even Christmas trees have been ordered – all ready for this week's launch of the alternative Spanish Christmas at La Tasca.

There are two Christmas party menus available, Fiesta Navidad from £16.95 per person and ideal for a lunchtime celebration and Fiesta Navidad Excelente from £21.95 per person.

Dishes include nibbles or starters followed by a large selection of traditional Spanish Christmas tapas such as Pavo de Navidad (Catalan-style turkey) as well as sharing paellas.

To save the pennies this Christmas La Tasca has highlighted 23 dates throughout November and December when it will be offering off peak Christmas deals to those booking a party. Discounts of up to £5 per person, making a saving of £40 on a party of 8 people.

In addition, for those who pre-order their wine, cava or sangria seven days before the date of their Christmas party, will receive one free bottle or pitcher of sangria for every five purchased.

Joanne Cox, brand manager for La Tasca said: "Every year more often than not by the time we reach Christmas we're all a bit jaded and a tad turkey'd out. At La Tasca we aim to give our customers a Christmas party with a difference so that enthusiasm remains till after the New Year.

"Our secret? Ban the Christmas pudding, and ditch the Brussels sprouts and bring on Christmas with a Spanish twist. And, wow, what a party we've got in store. As well as a promise of a fun, vibrant atmosphere we've introduced the perfect Spanish party menus, even offering special off peak deals for those on a budget."
