This is the second new site to be acquired by La Tasca in the last 4 weeks.
Simon Wilkinson, CEO, La Tasca Restaurants said that continued growth had led to to the acquisition of another site: "Following a successful trading period throughout December that produced an EBITDA growth of over 80% we have decided to continue our expansion programme ahead of the intended schedule.
"The acquisition of Brasserie Gerard in Lymington fits nicely with our geographic and concept requirements and we will start work immediately to convert this site into a La Vina. The la Vina concept has worked extremely well in the North West and I believe the people of Lymington will really enjoy the Spanish authenticity and exciting experience this restaurant will bring to the area.
"This acquisition and development represents another significant milestone for our business as we enter our second financial year as a standalone restaurant company."
Further sites look to be acquired by La Tasca Restaurants throughout the year whilst more of the current estate will be transformed to the new concept, Spanish Tapas Bar & Kitchen.
