LOOKING TO ACHIEVE A DREAM

30th June 2008, 9:31am

So many people in South Devon are looking to fulfil a dream to run their own pub or restaurant that a leading training company is running extra courses to meet the demand.

Peter Bell, a partner with Inn-Dispensable, the west country  training firm for the British Institute of Innkeeping, said: "We have decided to run two courses, the first the National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders Course, at our centre at the Fisherman´s Cot at Bickleigh on July 7th.

"And, to accommodate the huge interest from South Devon, a second course at the Dolphin Hotel at Bovey Tracey on July 22nd. This will provide far easier travelling times for potential licensees from throughout the region."

The full range of BIIAB courses run by Inn-Dispensable include the National Certificate for Designated Premises Supervisors; the Award in Beer and Cellar Quality; Award in Responsible Alcohol Retailing and National Certificate for Licensees (Drugs Awareness).

There is also a three-day introduction to licensed retailing for those who are new to the industry or those who need to update their compliance/qualifications.

Anyone wishing to take part in either of the courses can contact Peter on 07966 008120 or call 023 92345678. The web site is www.inn-dispensable.com
