The beer has been brewed in support of David Cameron's stance on the euro.
Wetherspoon chairman Tim Martin said: "Veto Ale is a traditional English bitter and a perfect example of a great beer style that you can drink and feel proud to be British.
"I believe that David Cameron has taken the right decision on the euro and that customers in our pubs will salute this with a pint of this excellent beer."
Veto Ale has been brewed exclusively for Wetherspoon by Lincolnshire brewer, Batemans Brewery.
The beer is 4.3 per cent ABV and is brewed using solely British ingredients, including Lincolnshire and Yorkshire malts and Bramling Cross and Challenger hops.

Excellent move. I will be buying this beer, and more shares in JDW!

Great initiative. Time for a pint - and it's even inspired a blogpost from this particular JDW follower of many years' standing, both for the pubs and the shares. http://davidcooperbooks.blogspot.com/2012/01/veto-ale-cheers-jd-wetherspoon-and-tim.html
