A panel of industry experts from the wine and spirit trade will be taking centre stage at this year's WSTA Conference in London on 14 September (Wine and Spirit Trade Association).

BBC business journalist Dominic Laurie will host a Q & A session covering the big issues facing the sector with a panel including:

Nick Hyde, managing director, Diageo Wines Europe
Finn O'Driscoll, managing director, Beverage Brands
Simon McMurtrie, chief executive, Direct Wines
Christian Rose, chief executive officer, G&J Greenall

Health Secretary Andrew Lansley will give the keynote address at the event, which will be hosted by WSTA Chairman Tim How.

The conference will feature the latest analysis of the UK market, with speakers from Nielsen and CGA strategy, and consider future consumer trends, with a presentation from Pula Houghton, head of Economic Policy for Which?

WSTA chief executive Jeremy Beadles will also set out the political and regulatory challenges expected to face the industry in the year ahead.

A few remaining tickets are available for the event and media representatives are invited to register if they would like to attend.
