Part of the von Essen collection, Hotel Verta is the group's first London hotel and the first hotel in the Metropolitan Set.
The hotel's design is inspired by the Halcyon days of aviation.
The hotel lobby is a double height atrium with a sweeping staircase up to the mezzanine level. All of the 70 bedrooms, including 14 suites, are furnished in a modern style, each with original artwork and bespoke fittings.
All day dining of traditional English and modern European dishes will be available in the Patrisey Restaurant (an Anglo-Saxon name for Battersea).
The opening of Hotel Verta coincides with the regeneration of the Thames riverfront and the hotel is expected to create around 100 new jobs.
Hotel Verta will be unveiled to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the heliport- London's only commercial heliport.
