Herbert and Arnaud
A panel of judges decided Herbert and his pastry chef Arnaud Viatte had just pipped Matthew Harris of Bibendum Restaurant and Adam Gray of Rhodes 24 to the post.
Each participating chef was presented with a certificate confirming their membership of the Chairman's Reserve XI for 2010.
Herbert Berger wins return tickets courtesy of the St Lucia Tourist Board to stay at the internationally renowned Hotel Cap Maison in St Lucia. The hotel restaurant 'The Cliff at Cap' is situated in one of the Caribbean's most dramatic settings overlooking the sea under the direction of executive chef Craig Jones whose nouveau French -West Indian menu uses fresh local produce and seafood.
Herbert will be invited during his stay to work with Craig and create a new dish with a St Lucia touch.
