Harvey's is the only restaurant in Thanet to hold the accolade.
Peter Sturdey, hotel & restaurant inspector for the AA, said: "This Rosette rating recognises excellent local restaurants serving food prepared with care, understanding and skill, using good quality ingredients."
Group development chef John Burton-Race added: "To have achieved this accolade in such a short time has made me proud to be associated with their new venture. I am delighted that the hard work and diligence applied by Richard and Sherry Martin and their staff has been recognized."
Harvey's, which opened its doors at the end of June, is also a front-runner in the Kent Restaurant Awards in the 'Best Seafood' category.
