Visitors to this year’s Hampton Court Palace Flower Show can learn how to grow their own curry using one of the hottest chillies in the world, garlic galore and the hyacinth bean, which is rarely grown in the UK.

Among the 14 specialist growers showcasing and selling fruit, vegetables and herbs within the Growing Tastes Marquee a number include displays of mustards, Indian cookery herbs and chilli plants.

Sea Spring Seeds will have a variety of vegetables grown in quirky containers, including Dorset Naga, one of the hottest chillies in the world.

The Garlic Farm, which will offer tastings, will display a 10' tall sculpture with over 10 varieties of garlic arranged in segments.
