Davis Coffer Lyons acted on behalf of landlord Shaftesbury to let the unit to the new operator, which is led by Paul Williamson, an ex-operations manager at Soho House Group and Sarah Wall, an experienced hospitality operator who runs a number of pubs in south west London.
The 510 sq ft unit will comprise a counter area on the ground floor and a seated area in the basement.
Kate Taylor, Davis Coffer Lyons, said: "Spud has identified a real gap in the market; there are so many baked potato lovers but nothing else on the market which offers them with a gourmet twist. We've no doubt Spud will prove an exciting addition to the area's vibrant dining offer."
