French restaurant Brasserie Joel opens for lunch

17th September 2010, 9:59am

London's French restaurant Brasserie Joël is already said to have “growing critical acclaim for its fine French brasserie cuisine for dinner” and now it is also going to open for lunch.

Situated in the South Bank at the foot of Westminster Bridge, the new brasserie by acclaimed chef Joël Antunes now serves a two course and a three course menu.

While the menu changes daily to provide the best available fish, meat and produce, it will feature appetisers such as leek salad with blue cheese and candied pecans, mains including oxtail tortellini with spinach and Swiss chard and desserts including fruit minestrone with margarita sorbet.

The dessert menu also includes a cheese selection with cherry jam and dried pears for a £4 supplement.

Brasserie Joël will offer a set menu for lunch priced at £16.50 for two courses or £19.50 for three courses.

Located on the first floor of Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London at the foot of Westminster Bridge, Brasserie Joël offers a selection of "classic bistro dishes" that use the best-available seasonal ingredients.
