The workshop, which will be taking place on 14 October, will address factors such as how to attract and retain potential customers through online marketing, and engage modern thinking to provide workable, practical guidance.
Keynote speakers at the session are Olly Bloxham from revolutionary marketing web application Sign-Up, who will be discussing email marketing, Matthew Richardson, director of Propeller Communications, who will be speaking about web design, and Catherine Toole, managing director of Sticky Content, who will be focusing on 'How to write effective, on brand, findable web copy'.
Research revealed that 62% of diners went online last year when looking to book a restaurant, and with more people than ever using the internet as the first port of call for information, it is crucial for restaurateurs to be up to speed with online marketing.
David Norris, COO for Livebookings, commented on the importance of online marketing: "One of the great things about online marketing is that you can account for every pound you spend. There are no fixed costs and you only pay for the results."
For those looking to attend the event must register at 9am, and the workshop will begin at 10am and will run until 11.30am. Non-members are to pay £25 plus VAT but once they sign up to Livebookings on the day, the cost of their workshop place will be refunded.
