Food on the Move sold to lunch!

25th July 2008, 11:06am

EasyFairs, organisers of Food on the Move, has sold their show to Diversified Business Communications UK, organisers of Lunch!, the new trade show aimed at the 'food to go' market.

Peter Health, managing director of easyfairs United Kingdom, commented on the sale: "Our philosophy is to work with exhibitors to create one definitive event for the industry and in this instance we have been very impressed by Diversified's approach to their new show, lunch! We have therefore reached an agreement with Diversified to incorporate our show into lunch!, thereby creating one not-to-be missed event for this important industry sector."

Carsten Holm, managing director of Diversified, welcomed the agreement: "Adding Food on the Move to the event further serves to underline our commitment to the market and why it has become the must attend event of the year for any serious buyer involved in the food-to-go sector.

"To date, over 100 selected companies will be exhibiting at lunch! and registrations are already exceeding our optimistic expectations, with buyers confirmed to attend from all sectors of the industry, from independents to big name multiples like Pret, Marks & Spencer, Compass Group and O'Briens."

Lunch! will be kicking off on 26-27 September at Old Billingsgate, London.
