First CHA Environmental Familiarisation Visit

15th June 2009, 8:47am

The Considerate Hoteliers Association (CHA) has announced the Association's very first 'Familiarisation Visit', which has been designed to give hoteliers the opportunity to learn first-hand about the considerate benefits of CHA membership.

The programme, which takes place on Tuesday, 30 June 2009 at the award-winning West Lodge Park at Hadley Wood in Hertfordshire, will include presentations and tours comprising the importance of the role of Green Teams in hotels, the opportunity to meet CHA specially selected suppliers, and introductions to the environmental approach of Beales Hotels, to name a few.

The cost of attending the familiarisation visit will be £65 for non-CHA members; free for the first CHA member, with a 50% discount for each additional person (£32.50) representing that member establishment.

There are also special 10% discount offers on CHA annual membership available to attendees – who are members of the British Hospitality Association (BHA), the Institute of Hospitality and BAHA (British Association of Hospitality Accountants) – for their hotels.

John Firrell, CHA Association Secretary, said: "CHA is greatly indebted to Beales Hotels Managing Director, Andrew Beale, for hosting the event on 30 June, which will include a buffet lunch. We have put together, with Andrew's help, an exciting and informative environmental agenda, that will also provide an invaluable opportunity for networking and debate."

For further information and for bookings, please contact John Firrell at: jfirrell@consideratehoteliers.com; telephone: 01308 482313, or complete the form on the CHA website: www.consideratehoteliers.com
