Acting on intelligence, officers raided the restaurant on Portway in the town on the afternoon of Saturday 5 December.
Seven people, three Pakistani males, three Indian males and an Indian female were arrested for breaking their visa conditions. All those arrested were in their 20s.
The franchisee has been warned they face a maximum fine of up to £70,000 for employing the seven, unless they can prove they carried out the correct right-to-work checks on their staff.
During the subsequent search of a residential address at Wealdstone Place in Springfield another Indian female in her 20s was arrested, also for working in breach.
Four of the Indian nationals arrested have already been removed from the UK. Of the remainder, three are in detention pending their removal, while one other has been granted immigration bail.
