15Hatfields, a new sustainable and organic events and facilities venue which opened in the heart of London’s South Bank last week, is offering all businesses and organisers a wide range of fairtrade, organic and locally sourced dishes to indulge in.

The establishment, which is part of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH), comprises four boardroom style meeting rooms as well as four flexible meeting spaces including a large venue area that can be divided into four individual rooms.

Eden Caters, who provide catering for up to 500 clients in the capital, offer all corporate workers a selection of dishes on the menu – from platters of sandwiches, finger buffet, salads, cakes and fruit, to a hot fork buffet which consists of a starter, hot main courses, salads and desserts.

The catering company, which changes its menu seasonally, prides itself on serving locally sourced, homemade food. It is a corporate organisation which caters for businesses including banks, Government bodies, lawyers and training centres. There are 25 workers within the Eden team which includes the chefs, drivers and staff.

Canapes on arrival include Organic Humus, Tomato Basil, and Cajun Chicken, which were all served up at the launch party last week (21 May).

Prices for sandwiches range from £2.40 to £3.15. The selection includes Sliced Egg & Tomato, Gammon Ham & Mustard, Smoked Salmon, Tuna Sweetcorn and Courgette and Sweet Potato.

Those looking for a breakfast meeting will have the choice of two set breakfast menus. The power breakfast comprises One Muesli with Berry Coulis, One Cookie and One Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice – priced at £3.75 per person, and the continental breakfast is made up of One Croissant & Butter, One Danish, One Fruit Portion and One Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice – for £5.40 per person.

And for those looking for a hot bowl meal, dishes include Fish Cakes (£8.75), Lasagne Bolognese (£8.65), and Javanese Chicken & Rice (£8.85 per person).

Drinks on offer include Chardonnay 2003, Sibarita's Selection, Cono Sur (£8.00), Macon Mancey Rouge (£9.90), and Brut Tradition from Robert Desbrosse (£16.85)

Nick Mead, from Eden Caters, commented on the new events space his team is now catering for: "This venue is completely sustainable, user-friendly and viable in every way. It has a fully operational kitchen for our caterers to work in so we don't have to bring equipment with us."
