The eatery will donate 50p for customers who order its fillet of wild turbot, ratatouille, roasted vine cherry tomatoes, with wild garlic and balsamic dressing. It will donate a further 25p when customers order an accompanying bottle of its excellent Mainart Chardonnay 2007 La Maison des Maines.
The 25p donation will be matched by wine supplier Hix & Buck, bringing the total donation up to a pound. Customers can also choose to make an additional voluntary contribution.
Owner Jonny Dunhill said: "Most of us who work at the top end of the restaurant business suffer pangs of guilt when we are reminded of those who go hungry. This is a practical way where we, our suppliers and customers can help make a small contribution to those less well off."
Action Against Hunger is an international humanitarian organisation specialised in tackling hunger and malnutrition with projects in 43 countries.
Last year 500 restaurants were involved in RAH's 'Fight Hunger / Eat Out' campaign, raising more than £400,000.
