Bringing in a professional architect can often be costly and so the charity, which helps hospitality staff who are facing tough times, decided to run the incentive.
For just a £50 donation to Hospitality Action, businesses that are tired of their premises or simply want advice on how to achieve a new look, can qualify for the advice.
The new initiative called Architect in the Hospitality Zone is based on the hugely successful Architect in the House scheme, run annually by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and Shelter, the charity for the homeless.
Architect in the Hospitality Zone is being organised by Stephen Donald, director of SDA, one of the RIBA firms participating in the Architect in the House scheme.
He is offering a free initial one hour consultation to hospitality businesses in Greater London, in return for a £50 donation to Hospitality Action.
SDA projects have included the Bloomsbury Ballroom, Cube Bar and Lanesborough Garden Room, all in central London.
To sign up for a free Architect in the Hospitality Zone consultation and participate in this worthwhile initiative, log on to www.sda-net.com or call Stephen Donald Architects on Tel: 020 7490 0665.
