Davis Coffer Lyons secures Be At One's 10th London site

14th June 2010, 10:40am

London cocktail bar chain Be At One has acquired a tenth site in the capital as part of an expansion plan to grow to 18 sites over the next two years.

Acting for the group, Davis Coffer Lyons (DCL) has secured the former The Legion in Shoreditch, east London for an undisclosed sum.

The concept, which is 100% wet-led and boasts a 190-strong cocktail list, was founded in 1998 by directors Rhys Oldfield, Steve Locke and Leigh Miller with a site in Battersea.

It currently trades from nine outlets across London, including one in Spitalfields which DCL acquired for the company last year.

The new site, which is located on 348 Old Street will open later this summer.

DCL's Jonathan Moradoff who handled the acquisition, said: "Shoreditch has become an extremely popular eating and drinking destination over the last few years and as a result there is a high demand for operators to get hold of opportunities in the area. Be At One has built up a fantastic portfolio of successful venues across London and the newly acquired site in Old Street is excellent addition."
