DCL sells Ealing outlet of My Old Dutch

8th March 2010, 10:39am

Pancake concept My Old Dutch has sold its restaurant in Ealing as part of a strategy to focus on trade in its three other outlets and rolling out the brand into larger sites.

Acting on behalf of the group, leisure property agent Davis Coffer Lyons sold the 1,260 sq ft site on New Ealing Broadway to an independent multiple operator who will turn it into a bistro.

My Old Dutch opened its first restaurant in Holborn in 1958 and it currently also trades from sites in Kensington and Chelsea.

The concept offers savoury and sweet pancakes as well as a selection of salads, traditional Dutch starters and desserts.

Rob Meadows of Davis Coffer Lyons who acted on the sale, said: "This disposal has allowed My Old Dutch to focus on their core central London locations and expansion into larger premises in key towns in the South East."
