DCL acquires second UK site

16th September 2009, 12:53pm

Roka, the Japanese restaurant concept owned by Arjun Waney and Rainer Becker, is to open its second UK site in London's Canary Wharf next month.

Acting on behalf of the pair, Davis Coffer Lyons (DCL) has acquired an outlet in Canary Wharf's latest eating destination Park Pavillion.

The 5,400 sq ft unit sits in front of the main tower, overlooking the garden pavilion area at the upper level of the under-construction development and joins brands including Canteen and Wahaca.

Since the launch of Zuma in 2002, Warjun and Becker have expanded their two concepts to include restaurants in Hong Kong, Istanbul, Dubai and Arizona.

DCL also acquired Roka's original site in Charlotte Street in 2004.
