2nd July 2008, 4:50pm

Curve restaurant, part of the London Marriott West India Quay Hotel, has launched a new ‘Al Fresco menu’, featuring a selection of summery dishes and ice-creams.

The new 'Al Fresco Menu', created by Chef Jolly, offers a selection of nine 'light bites' and four 'large bites' using market-fresh fish and seafood.

'Light bites' include dishes such as Crab and Avocado Salad with Butter Bib Lettuce and Goji Berry dressing; A Bucket of Prawns with Marie-Rose Sauce, and Soft Shell Crab Tempura with Soy-Spring Onion Sauce.

The 'large bites' feature Flame Grilled King Prawns with White Wine and Garlic; seared Scallops, English Asparagus and Chili-Garlic-Lemon Sauce; Grilled Lobster and Crab-Mayo Dip, and Spiced Chorizo and Shallots Confit with Ciabatta.

Prices range from £4.50 for 'Light Bites' and £11 for 'Large Bites'. This menu will be available from midday until 10.30pm and will be running alongside Curve's regular three-course a la carte menu.

And the dessert menu offers a range of Organic Wye Valley Ice Cream sourced from Wales. Flavours include Pimms Sorbet, Honeycomb and Ginger, and Strawberry and Pepper. These are priced at £2.50 per scoop.

The restaurant is situated on two floors with a separate bar and oyster bar, as well as a large outdoor terrace.
